About DoGood
Mission
DoGood Pet Rescue & Fund is a Canadian nonprofit dedicated to providing financial support to pet rescues across Canada. Our ultimate goal is to alleviate financial burdens from foster parents and rescue operations, allowing them to focus on what matters - rescuing and rehoming pets. When rescues need help, we want to be their first call.
Future Goals
While we currently focus on funding existing rescue operations, our long-term vision is to expand and operate as a full-service rescue organization. Coming Soon.
Our Story
Our Founders
Kevin’s heart for rescue began with fostering back in 2020; 35 dogs so far and counting. Nic’s began back home in Trinidad, where he grew up seeing strays struggling to survive each day. Together, they’ve built a movement to make sure no pet is left behind in Canada.
The Problem
When we started volunteering with local rescues, we saw the same problem everywhere: amazing organizations wanting to help more dogs but constantly limited by funding limitations and supply constraints.
Taking Action
We realized that rescue teams were operating at full capacity caring for animals, so they were unable to spend as much time and energy on fundraising and financial strategy. That's where we come in.
The DoGood Solution
We decided to become the dedicated funding partner that rescues desperately need. We handle the fundraising, and distribute where needed. They handle the rescuing and rehoming. Together, we save more animals.
